True freedom only comes when a person can worship God for this incredible creation He's made! Worship is the normal, natural expression of a free soul. Surrendering to Christ gives our heart true freedom from the empty lies all around us.
Slavery happens when we embrace sin. Sin creates enslavement because it forces people to do wrong even when they want to do right. That is true enslavement, when you don't really have control over your own actions. Christ restores your control over yourself by allowing you to make life decisions without fear of ridicule, without fear of punishment, and without fear of death. Over time, this freedom leads you to a genuine love for God.
