1Now faith is assurance of `things' hoped for, a conviction of things not seen. 6And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing `unto him'; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and `that' he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

Genuine faith in God allows a person to rest and enjoy life.
Faith is being sure that God is taking care of things better than any human hands ever could, even better than your own human hands. When we stop living by our own strength that's when we're able to really start doing what's right ("aka living righteous"). Because we have our full faith in the one who created everything.

2And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick and at the point of death. 7wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say the word, and my servant shall be healed. 8For I also am a man set under authority, having under myself soldiers: and I say to this one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 9And when Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned and said unto the multitude that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 10And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole.

15Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is epileptic, and suffereth grievously; for oft-times he falleth into the fire, and off-times into the water. 18And Jesus rebuked him; and the demon went out of him: and the boy was cured from that hour. 19Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast it out? 20And he saith unto them, Because of your little faith: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21`But this kind goeth not out save by prayer and fasting.'

God created all of existence by His word. And He will use that same word to move miraculously in your life. Genuinely loving God and worshipping God is how your faith in God becomes strong. God is constantly working miracles in the life of those who have their faith in Him.
Receiving the full blessings of God requires placing your full faith in Him. When life becomes uncomfortable, place your faith in God instead of trusting in your own strength. If the world entices, keep your faith in God instead of short-term fulfillment. Faith in God is not always the easy or comfortable road, but it's always the best road to be on.
